The E-Learning Collaborative was founded by a group of Association Executives that recognized the need to bring together Digital Learning Practitioners who work in professional societies and trade associations to promote collaboration and the exchange of innovation. These leaders observed the major technological revolution occurring in K-12 and Higher Education and they understood that the traditional Continuing Education delivery model was also changing.
Professional Societies and Trade Associations play an important role in the Lifelong Learning Continuum. The Collaborative offers several different opportunities to promote excellence in developing and administering E-Learning Continuing Education and Professional Development Programs.
Members have access to our E-Learning Exchange for the dissemination of best practices for developing digital learning content, courses and programs. Our Awards and E-Learning Quality Credentialing Programs recognize excellence in our profession and our Innovation Symposium provides a venue to promote the use of new technology for continuous quality improvement.
Membership in the E-Learning Collaborative is available at the organizational level to Professional Societies and Trade Associations and includes participation in our E-Learning Excellence Quality Credentialing Program, access to the E-Learning Exchange and a discount on registration for our Annual Symposium.
The E-Learning Excellence Quality Credentialing Program is the only certification program dedicated exclusively to professional societies and trade associations. The symbol of E-Learning Excellence certifies to members and the public that instructional courses and programs offered by the organization have been developed in accordance with published standards for the creation and delivery of quality online, hybrid and digital learning continuing education content.
