Associations play a crucial role in fostering lifelong learning by providing structured learning opportunities, professional development resources, and a network for members to connect and learn from each other. Many associations offer courses, workshops, and seminars designed to enhance members' skills and knowledge in their respective fields.
About The Collaborative
The E-Learning Collaborative was founded by a group of Association Executives in response to the rapid shift towards digital learning platforms as a result of pandemic and the changing nature of the professional development industry. Some of these executives are former Administrators from Higher Education and were involved in the is digital learning transformation and the movement to create quality standards for delivery of online programs.
The credentialing bodies that established standards for digital learning content and online programs in higher education do not address the unique role that professional societies and trade associations play in the lifelong learning and continuum, and the E-Learning Collaborative was formed to focus specifically on promoting and recognizing excellence in professional society and trade associations.
